Japanese garden

Our Japanese garden is the perfect extraordinary setting you are looking for when organizing your outdoor events. After a long day in a closed meeting room you might appreciate a refreshing break or evening barbecue under the stars. The garden is an ideal place for summer parties, wedding ceremonies and receptions, romantic walks or just to enjoy a quiet moment at. A helicopter or a hot air baloon may land here as well, an option very much appreciated by our guests in the past. However, you can also play tennis here or even rugby! A helicoptere can land here that was used by our clients several times. 

The Japanese garden is characteristic with its fountains and water cascades. Two ponds and a romantic waterfall can be found here as well, along with the statues of goddesses Ancient Rome and Greece.

The garden was built on a square area of 7,000 metres and consists of two cascade terraces. The first terrace consists of a waterfall with a pond built so that it can be viewed from the Winter Garden. The second, upper, terrace consists of a larger pond with a singing fountain and a beautiful wooden bridge in Japanese style. The most attractive part of the entire garden is the singing fountain, which is accompanied by light effects in the evening hours and offers an extraordinary view.  

In spring the garden becomes live with the blossoming Japanese cherry trees and Japanese azaleas. The waterfalls as well as the compositions of stones which surround it are embedded in evergreen wooden trees - boxes, yews, and cotoneasters. The red Full Moon Maple adds a touch of colour to the entire scenery all year round.

Apart from hotel guests who enjoy spending time in the garden, it has also become an attractive place for young couples to say their vows to each other. It is also a favoured location for garden parties of various kinds as well as fireworks.
