On Wednesday, March 15, 2018, Hradec Králové held the XXIII. annual national competition for cookery and confectionery with international participation & XIII. the year of the championship of the Czech Republic with the title Master of the Czech Chef and Master of the Czech Confectioner.

TOP HOTEL Prague represented Chef Peter Malcek in the "Taste of the Czech Republic - Best Candle Sauce Competition" category, which with his perfect sauce succeeded and won 3rd place.

In the "Sponge cake" category, TOP HOTEL Praha represented two confectioners, Mrs. Jana Baldová and Mrs. Jitka Frajtová, with their original recipe for COFFEE ROLLER WITH PUMPKIN MARMALADE, took the second place.
