The best fireman in 2017 became a woman!

On Thursday, April 19, 2018, members of the Fire Rescue Service of the Czech Republic met at TOP HOTEL Praha on the occasion of the ceremony of the 2017 Firefighting Survey.

This award was taken over by Cpt. PhDr. Eva Biedermannová, a psychologist of the HZS Central Bohemia Region.

The poll of the year has been announced by the Minister of the Interior since 2009 and aims to award the best professional firefighters, the most experienced commanders, demanding interventions, new firefighting projects, working teams and the best employees of the group for the past calendar year. A total of fifty-two nominations were sent to the ninth year of the survey. The seventeen-member jury selected the winning nomination for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in the category Fireman of the Year, Commander of the Year, Employee of the Year, Team of the Year, Project of the Year and Year of the Year.
